Anthem of the Seas | Day 1 | Cape Liberty Terminal, SeaPlex Exploring, & Best NYC Sail Away View!

Ahoy Mates! Welcome aboard Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas! We are departing from Bayonne, New Jersey at Cape Liberty Cruise Port to embark on an 11 night Southern Caribbean sailing! We will be hitting several destinations including Puerto Rico, St. Maarten, Antigua, St. Lucia, and St. Kitts! But lets not forget that we will be having several super fun days at sea on this magnificent ship! This is not only our fist time on Anthem of the Seas, but our first Quantum Class sailing, so we are very excited to check out of of the special offerings! After touring the terminal and boarding we took some time to marvel at the spectacular view of Manhattan! From the ship you can see several landmarks including the Statue of Liberty, Chrysler Building, Empire State Building, and World Trade Center Building! This view was very special, however, it only got better as we sailed away! Our ship passed under the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge and it was amazing! With only 5 meters of clearance, it was quite the spectacle and truly a unique experience! For the rest of the day we checked out our awesome virtual balcony stateroom, participated in the mandatory muster drill, ate dinner at the Windjammer Buffet, and fell in love with the awesomeness of the SeaPlex!
